TrackMyComplaints

Keep every complaint organised, and every deadline in sight.

Track the complaints you have open with schools, NHS trusts, councils, the DWP and more, each with its stages, evidence and response dates in one place. Deadlines are calculated in UK working days, so weekends and bank holidays never catch you out.

At a glance, see what needs attention and what can wait.

On track

Plenty of time. The next response isn't due for a while.

Due soon

Within five days. A good moment to check in or prepare your next step.

Overdue

Past the response date. A gentle prompt to follow up when you're ready.

Built for the way complaints actually work.

01

From Stage 1 to the Ombudsman

Move a case through its stages, record each outcome, and see when it might be time to escalate. Start from ready-made templates for schools, NHS trusts, councils and the DWP.

02

Everything in one clear record

Log every letter, call and response on a per-case timeline, and keep your documents alongside. Mark sensitive notes private so they stay just for you when you share a case.

03

Share a case, keep the rest private

Send a read-only link, or invite someone by email to follow a single case from their own account. Everything else stays private to you, protected at the database level, not just in the app.

Common questions

Is TrackMyComplaints free?

Yes. TrackMyComplaints is free to use and no card is required. You can open as many cases as you need.

Which organisations can I track complaints against?

Any organisation. Ready-made stage templates cover UK schools, NHS trusts, local councils and the DWP, including their escalation routes to the Department for Education, PHSO, LGSCO and Independent Case Examiner, and you can add any other organisation with your own stages.

How are response deadlines calculated?

In UK working days: weekends and English bank holidays are skipped automatically. Each case shows whether the next response is on track, due soon or overdue.

Is my complaint data private?

Yes. Your cases are private to your account and isolated at the database level, not just in the app. If you choose to share a case, the other person sees a read-only view of that one case only, and your private notes stay hidden.

Do I need to install anything?

No. TrackMyComplaints is a web app that runs in your browser on desktop and mobile. Sign up and your cases are available anywhere you log in.

Stop carrying it all in your head.

Open your first case in a couple of minutes, and add the rest whenever you're ready.
